The National Centre of Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship (NCIIE) |
| The NCIIE is a learning platform for the innovators and entrepreneurs. NCIIE was established during 2005 in association with EDII, Ahmedabad and IIITM Kerala as partnering Institutions with Technopark. The NCIIE is a part of the Technopark Technology Business Incubator, is conducting Courses and seminars on Entrepreneurship Development. Technopark networked with all the Engineering Colleges (84) and Technical Institutions and Management Institutions (9) in the State and helping them to form Technology Business Incubator and Entrepreneurship Development Clubs (EDCs) in the colleges. NCIIE is conducting Faculty Development and Training programmes for the Technical Institutions as part of the TEQUIP (Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme) of the State Government. Entrepreneurship development programmes are organised by NCIIE annually for educating the Innovators, Engineering students as well as Engineering College faculty. |
| Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps - ‘Technopreneur 2008’ |
| The Pre-Conference Workshops has been conducted in Technopark successfully in association with NCIIE, KIED, STED, T-TBI and T-TUC. Experts have delivered speeches and took part in the panel discussions on Business Incubation and its Promotion. The Technopark TBI is now conducting the Technopreneur 2008 workshop series. As the first follow up programme, we have conducted a one day workshop on “promoting Technology Business Incubation and Building Global Enterprises” at Kozhikode on 10th march 2008 in association with NITC-TBI, STED, NCIIE, DSIR, TIFAC and T-TBI.The second follow up workshop was conducted at Kochi on May 17, 2008 was jointly organized by Technopark TBI, Technopark TePP Outreach Centre (TUC), TiE Kerala, STED, Infopark, NCIIE and CUSAT. The program was supported by DST, TIFAC & DSIR, Govt. of India. |
| Software Engineering Training Programmes |
| NCIIE and TSECC are jointly conducting workshops for business start-ups, students and academic research community as well as IT entrepreneurs for enhancing their Software engineering competency. The programme focuses on bridging the gap between theoretical earning and practical implementation of software development through easy access of software engineering tools, for the beginners in their respective field. |
| Faculty Development Programme |
| NCIIE in association with EDII and DST, Government of India is conducting Faculty Development and Training programmes for the Technical Institutions. The FDPs are conducted on a periodical basis either in house (in the college premises) or residential (in Technopark). |
