| Technopreneur 2009 - 2nd Edition conducted in Kochi |

Technopark TBI in association with Technopark TePP Outreach Centre (T-TUC),Innovation Lab, ITIH-TBI and TechnoFIRST jointly organized a one-day workshop “Technopreneur 2009”. The theme of Technopreneur was Promoting Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Kochi. The inspiration behind this initiative has been to utilize and effectively convert the skills and expertise of students and rural innovators to start entrepreneurial ventures. This workshop served to promote the spirit of Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship among the Innovators from every segment and the campuses of academic Institutions across Central Kerala. The workshop evoked massive response among the innovators and prospective entrepreneurs of central and northern region of Kerala. |
| Well known intellectual speakers from the field would share their experience on entrepreneurship on the occasion. Technopreneur 2009 progressed with various session on entrepreneurship by eminent personalities like Dr. Rao, Mr.Yathish, Mr.Mervin Alexander on topics like Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Support offered by NASSCOM to Start up companies and Experience in Promoting Technopark TBI. The session ended with experience sharing by Mr. Sanjay Vijayakumar, CEO, MobME, a succesfully graduated incubatee of T-TBI. |
| One to One discussions with Dr.A.S Rao , Former Advisor, TePP-DSIR was conducted as parallel session along with the Workshop for the benefit of the Innovators. 21 Innovative proposals from different parts of kerala where scouted during the second edition of Technopreneur 2009. Technopark TUC will guide the Innovators for applying to the TePP Grant of DSIR, Govt of India. |
