new ideas with computer generated models.

2.Seamless scale-up support (S3T)
(max support Rs 45 lakhs)

1. TePP is a common programme of DSIR.
2. Download the Application Form, Annexure and kindly send the duly filled form to response@technopark.org the category may be downloaded from the link 'TePP Application Forms ' or from the DSIR Website:http://www.dsir.nic.in/ 
3. Innovators are encouraged to submit proposals through the TUC,Technopark, TePP Outreach Centre. The TUC will provide counseling and mentoring, and if needed incubation facilities. There will be no counseling sessions in DSIR.
4. dot.com start-ups are not supported under TePP but start-ups with innovative delivery models of S&T to rural beneficiaries are eligible for support.
5. Innovators are advised to protect their intellectual property rights by submitting provisional application before revealing details in application, essential for evaluation. For approved projects, subsequent patenting costs including international patenting in two countries are eligible for support.
6. Proposals of grass root innovators and school children are supported under NIF and not TePP.
7. Faculty research and student projects are not supported under TePP, but faculty start-ups and student entrepreneurs are eligible provided they possess technology commercialization rights.
8. Canvassing in any form is liable for summarily rejection of the application.
9. The decision of the Ministry will be final. No correspondence shall be entertained on the proposals rejected
Technopreneur Promotion Programme (TePP Program)
Introduction
The "Technopreneur Promotion Programme" (TePP) was launched in 1998-99 by the Ministry of Science and Technology, converted into a network program in 2006 with several out reach centers and evolved into India’s first Open Innovation Network in 2009. TePP is operated by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) to tap the vast innovative potential of Creative Indians , bring out innovations to Bottom-Of-Pyramid (BOP) market and strengthen National Innovation system. Till date TePP supported over 300 innovations and emerged as the largest angel fund for technology ventures.
Objective

TePP has the following objectives:  

  • To promote and support untapped creativity of individual innovators
  • To assist the individual innovators to become technology based entrepreneurs
  • To assist the technopreneur in networking and forge linkages with other constituents of the innovation chain for commercialization of their developments.
Activities
The activities under TePP include providing financial support to selected and screened individual innovators having original ideas for converting them into working models , prototypes and so on.   TePP assistance is provided to the innovators to incubate innovations and to incubate enterprises in distinct phases.
